After winning the Golden Leopard in 2018 with A Land Imagined, Yeo Siew Hua enters the official competition in Venice with his new film Stranger Eyes!
A co-production between Singapore, Taiwan, France and the United States, the film follows a young couple whose little girl has disappeared, and who start receiving video recordings of their most intimate moments…

The entire Films de Force Majeure team congratulates Siew Hua and his team! After A Land Imagined, it’s a real privilege to continue this exciting collaboration. The film’s cast includes Lee Kang-Sheng, and the magnificent cinematography is once again by Hideho Urata.

In France, Stranger Eyes has been supported by the CNC (Cinémas du Monde), the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region (development fund), and Epicentre Films, which will distribute the film in France. International sales are handled by Playtime.
